In the research (EU) project MEDIRAD, I work on developing multivariate statistical methods for the analysis of the study to produce network models that describe the relations at the cellular molecular level, how these relations change over time, and differ between patient groups with application to cancer (omics) data. In order to characterize the biological pathways and networks associated with radiation-induced cardiovascular disease, we combine different types of data (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics), and multiple datasets, such as clinical cohort studies, into a single analysis.
Simultaneously, I work on developing a network model that consists of both (fixed) covariate information and random interaction effects in a high-dimensional longitudinal setting.
